The Lamont Award
This is an imaginary award given out to someone in the news who lacks common sense. In the past we've given it to Wesley Snipes for tax evasion, Britney Spears for driving her kid around without a car seat, and even a mom who drove her kids around while they vandalized cars.

Witness Fitness Mix/Cool Down
Yolanda is all about health & fitness. The Witness Fitness Mix is three upbeat songs remixed back-to-back designed to get you stimulated and ready to go. Many listeners listen to this while doing a quick workout routine. Once you've gotten through the mix, the cool down starts. The cool down is a two-minute freestyle designed to bring you back down from the high energy workout. Kids love the cool down. We get calls every day about how the kids sing along.
Monday-Friday
Points Of Power
Your daily dose of scripture. Yolanda will read a verse(s) from the bible and translate/relate them to everyday use. This has got to be our most popular benchmark. We post the references on the website, in case the listener missed it.
Monday-Friday
Bishop Secular
Bishop Secular is a character who comes in and gives us a two-minute commentary about something church related. The character isn't like your usual pastors, preachers, or ministers though. He "grew up" with a secular background and sometimes relates things in a creative way. Every time he comes on he has a message, but sometimes you have to use your mind to think about it. The message is disguised in the comedy. I'd say this is our second most popular benchmark.
Monday & Wednesday
Sanctified Sermon
Marcus Wiley has Larry read a verse from the bible. Marcus adds a comedic twist to the meaning of the verse, but eventually ends up in the right place. This is done in an "old fashioned preacher" kind of way.
Tuesday
Things That Make You Say "Thank Ya"
Marcus Wiley relates how God is working in mysterious ways. He'll talk about a situation in his life or in the news, and tell us how it all eventually worked out well in the end, thus making the person say, "Thank Ya".
Thursday
Guess Who Needs Jesus
Marcus Wiley tells you a story about someone in the news and, in a comedic way, explains why they need Jesus.
Thursday
That Aint In The Bible
Marcus Wiley takes a saying or bible reference that people THINK is in the bible and prove that it's not.
Friday
Revelations
Marcus Wiley has a revelation with a normal, everyday occurrence. He will humorously explain why the situation happened the way it did...and why it's good. |
